Supervision for those pursuing their ATr or LPc

Christina Hagemeier is a board approved supervisor for the state of Virginia. She is also an ATR-BC and can supervise those working towards their ATR. She has 10 years of experience work in hospitals, schools, group practice, and private practice. Her focus areas are trauma, neruodivergent folk, and life transitions.

My approach

  •  I use the following frameworks in my own therapy practice: client-centered, neurodivergent/queer affirming, somatic and body processing, trauma informed practices, systems approaches (including parts work), DBT, and art therapy.

  • I use a balance of supervisee directed and supervisor lead structure in 1:1 supervision.

  • I take a systems approach to supervision, working with my supervisees to understand the whole picture of their clients and the systems that impact them.

  • I view my role as a supervisor as one where I support your entire wellbeing as a new clinician. This means in supervision we will go beyond case conceptualization and look at your professional identity, professional boundaries, and more.

Questions

  • My fee is $90 per hour of individual supervision and $60 per hour for group supervision. I try to make my fees equitable to support new clinicians.

  • I provide supervision on the frequency that works for you. Most of my supervisees choose to do weekly or every other week supervision.

  • Yes, please check back to this page. Any groups I am offering will be posted here.

  • Right now, I generally only take on one to two individual supervisees. In a group, I allow no more than six residents. This is to follow state regulations.
