Anxiety therapy to support all your “what ifs” and racing thoughts.
You deserve to feel at peace.
Anxiety takes away our peace. Many clients come to us worried about the future, their kids, their job, the email they sent two days ago, the interaction from last week they had with a co-worker, the tone their partner used last night. Anxiety robs us of our ability to be present and keeps us constant state of hyperawareness. It sends our brain into a loop of “what if” or “why did I do that.” Sometimes people aren’t even aware that they are experiencing anxiety. They are so use to running through lists in their head, making sure everything is taken care of, or constantly living with a tight sensation in their chest or a racing heart.
Anxiety can be something experienced on its own or as a result of another neurodivergence or trauma. Many of our clients have anxiety along with other struggles, but that doesn’t make it any less real or devastating. Reach out today to start your journey back to a more peaceful mind and body.

Our Approach
Our approach for support anxiety is two fold. We focus on both your mind and your body. Many people just want to know how to make their brain turn off or how to fight back against all of the anxious thoughts. However, we believe that anxiety lives equally in your mind and in your body. Our therapists will work with you to understand the triggers for your anxiety and how it manifests for you in different situations. We will teach you tools and techniques to ground and connect with your body while also diving into the mechanisms in your brain that keep you on a metaphorical hamster wheel. Our therapists will also help you examine the patterns and behaviors in your life that may be contributing to your anxiety and support you in making lifestyle changes that will allow you to feel more peaceful and content.
How we work with anxiety
Mindfulness is the practice of noticing and being aware of your body and surroundings. There are many ways to access and practice mindfulness. Your therapist will help guide you to the practices that make the most sense for you.
Art therapy supports regulation and grounding. Creativity in all forms supports a decrease in anxiety. By using art making, we will help reset and realign your nervous system.
Somatic work is all about the mind body connection. In anxiety therapy, we will help you feel more comfortable with your body and use it as a way to help calm the anxious thoughts.
