I’m passionate about moving beyond conventional approaches, offering creative, personalized care that honors your individuality and supports your unique journey.

As a neurodivergent therapist, my personal experiences have shaped how I approach my work. There's no need to squeeze yourself into a one-size-fits-all mold when we can create a path that’s tailored just for you.  I take a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to my work, understanding that each person is unique and their needs deserve to be met with care and respect. Life can be messy, and sometimes we just need to sit with the messiness and accept it for what it is. Healing isn’t about erasing the past; it’s about making space for every part of who you are. My goal is to create a compassionate, supportive space where you feel safe to explore, process, and grow at your own pace.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll often find me with my dog by my side—taking way too many pictures and bringing him along wherever he’s allowed to go! I love spending time enjoying the calming atmosphere of the beach whenever I can. Art is a big part of my life, and it’s always been a way for me to express and ground myself. I’m passionate about painting, and when I need something hands-on, you’ll find me working with clay, doing embroidery, or diving into a DIY project. Sensory processing is something I’m deeply attuned to, and I make sure to honor my sensory needs through creative activities or simply engaging with the world around me. Whether it’s a quiet moment at the beach, rereading one of my favorite books, or a creative project, I value the balance and calm that these experiences bring.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach comes from my experience working in the school system. I’ve seen firsthand the impact that non-affirming environments can have on a child’s well-being. No child should feel like they have to hide parts of themselves just to fit into someone else’s idea of who they should be. I approach every session grounded in a neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed framework that centers on a deep respect for my clients unique experiences, cultural humility, and where the client is in the moment. I am committed to listening and learning from my clients, creating a space where they can express their needs and experiences authentically. I believe that growth is not linear or perfect—it’s more like art, and can be full of scribbles, mistakes, smudges, and detours. In sessions, I use humor, honesty, and warmth to guide our work, embracing life’s messiness and imperfections.

My experience

My experience has been focused primarily on working with children and adolescents. I have experience working in an inpatient psychiatric unit serving children and teens ages 6–17, where I supported youth in acute crises and gained valuable experience in crisis stabilization, safety planning, and intensive therapeutic interventions. For the past six years, I have worked, and continue to work within the school system, collaborating closely with students, families, and educators to address a variety of challenges including anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, and social-emotional difficulties. Working within the school setting has provided me with valuable insight into how mental health impacts students’ academic performance, social interactions, and overall development. I’ve had the opportunity to support a diverse population of student support needs, including anxiety, ASD, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, and crisis situations—directly in the environments where these struggles often arise. My experience in the school setting has given me a deep understanding of how mental health intersects with academic, social, and developmental needs. This firsthand experience allows me to bring a collaborative, systems-aware approach to therapy, to help young people thrive both emotionally and academically.
